Ambient Agent

The widget that makes the first move when a visitor hesitates

Ambient Agent reads how visitors behave on your site, how far they scroll, how long they stay and whether they are about to leave, and lets the widget say something at the right moment. It is in beta, and it is switched on per customer.

Reads behaviour

Scroll depth, time on the page, exit intent, inactivity and repeated clicks.

Picks the moment

Makes the first move when the pattern usually ends with the visitor leaving.

Learns from the outcome

Measured against a control group that never sees the nudge.

What is Ambient Agent?

Makes the first move on your site, when it's needed

No forms and no questions for the visitor. Just the behaviour already visible on the page, and a widget that knows when to say something.

Reads behaviour

How far down the page the visitor has scrolled, how long they have stayed, whether the cursor is heading for the tab, whether they have stopped moving or keep clicking the same spot.

Picks the moment

When the pattern usually ends with the visitor leaving without getting in touch, the widget shows a short greeting with a suggestion: ask a question in the chat, or get a call.

Learns from the outcome

If the visitor responds, the chat or the call takes over. If they don't, the widget backs off. Every outcome adjusts when and how the next nudge is shown.

What it can look like

Examples of nudges. The wording is adapted to your site.

1

Visitor: Has been reading for a long time without doing anything

The widget greets them: “Got a question? The chat answers straight away.”

2

Visitor: Is about to leave the page

The widget offers: “Would you rather get a call? Within 45 seconds.”

3

Visitor: Clicks the same spot again and again

The widget asks: “Is something not working? We can help.”

What beta means to us

Ambient Agent runs with customers who chose to switch it on, and we are still evaluating what it delivers. This is what we can promise already.
